Steve Ballmer unveils Clippers' new logo on 'Conan' (VIDEO)

Out with the old, in with the new. Steve Ballmer is trying his hardest to change the culture around the Los Angeles Clippers. And that starts with a new identity.

"Let's face facts, you look back at the history of the Clippers, it's not a happy history," Clippers owner Steve Ballmer said Wednesday during an appearance on 'Conan'.

Ballmer said he didn't have time to make wholesale changes to the franchise before the 2014-15 season, due to when he took over as owner. Well, that's no longer the case. Ballmer has nothing but time, and he's putting it to good use.

"This may have been a nutty thing, but the people know who the Clippers are. But the people want a new clippers. They want a happy ending to the story. This kind of downtrodden thing with this kinda funny ruler. Boom! Let's switch it around!"

And just like that, the Clippers have a new logo. If you have time Thursday and plan to be in the Los Angeles area, a few members of the Clippers, past and present -- Ballmer, coach Doc Rivers and the voice of the Clippers, Ralph Lawler, Cuttino Mobley, Lamond Murray -- will be giving out free t-shirts with the new logo.

Here's a map of where you can find your favorite Clippers.

It's the first of many new changes, according to Ballmer. Perhaps the best is yet to come.
