StaTuesday: Wild players on franchise all-time leaderboard

The Minnesota Wild begin their 15th season Thursday and as the year goes along several players have a chance to move up the franchise's all-time leaderboard.

Specifically, start tracking the statistics of Mikko Koivu, Zach Parise and Ryan Suter. Koivu, the team's No. 1 overall pick in 2001, already is the Wild's all-time leader in points and assists, but here's a look at some other categories in which Minnesota players can move up this season.

Games played

If Koivu can stay healthy, he'll be No. 1 overall three-fourths of the way into the season.

Goals

Koivu won't move up, but Parise has a chance to move up to No. 4 -- and No. 3 if he can put up 40 goals, which Wild fans certainly wouldn't mind.

Assists

Again, Koivu is already No. 1, but Ryan Suter, heading into his fourth season with the Wild, is poised to make the top-five this season.

Points

Parise needs just 47 points to move into fifth place all-time. Seeing as how he had 62 points last season and 56 in 2013-14, that's more than doable.

Not necessarily a statistic that people keep track of, but it is a stat nonetheless and Koivu is poised to be the all-time leader while Parise is also working his way up.
