Stastny listed week-to-week with injury after leaving Blues game
ST. LOUIS -- It appears forward Paul Stastny could be out of the Blues lineup longer than expected. On Wednesday, the Blues listed Stastny as week-to-week with a lower-body injury.
Stastny left in the first period of the Blues' 4-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday shortly after taking a hard shot off the skate. However, head coach Mike Yeo says that wasn't what caused the 31-year-old to head to the locker room early.
"I don't think it will be anything serious at all. It was not the shot that hurt. It was just a tweak something," Yeo said. "I would expect him to be ready for the next game."
Stastny has posted 40 points, including 18 goals and 22 assists, in 66 games this season for the Blues.
Yeo expects Stastny, who left in the first period, to be back for next @StLouisBlues game. Yeo adds Schwartz should be "fine." #stlblues pic.twitter.com/REFCCd50Cg
