Stanzi accepts Senior Bowl invite

University of Iowa quarterback and Northeast Ohio native Ricky Stanzi has accepted an invitation to play in the 2011 Senior Bowl later this month in Mobile, Ala.

The Senior Bowl is the most prestigious of the college football postseason all-star games. The entire week of practices are attended by NFL scouts and coaches, and all the practices and the Jan. 29 game are broadcast live on NFL network.

In a press release sent out by Senior Bowl organizers, Stanzi said he was "humbled" by the invitation.
