Seahawks on board with Mariners' carpool-to-Arizona idea

After five consecutive wins and a 35-6 thrashing of the division rival Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, it's beginning to look a lot like the Seahawks may shake the curse of the Super Bowl Hangover.

Currently locked into the No. 1 seed in NFC with one week to go in the regular season, the Seahawks' potential path to Super Bowl XLIX on Feb. 1 might run directly from Seattle to University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. Coincidentally, Seattle Mariners' pitchers and catchers will report to Peoria, Ariz., for spring training only a few weeks later, which led the Mariners to a wonderful road trip idea:
