Saints get special message just before taking off for Seattle

The Saints were sitting on the runway Thursday, preparing to depart for their rematch with the Seattle Seahawks, when they received a special last-minute sign, literally.

Punter Thomas Morstead tweeted out this picture of a plane flying over the Saints' heads as they waited to takeoff. It was towing a banner that simply read; "Believe." That has been the Black and Gold's slogan now for sometime.

The Saints are marching into hostile territory, seeking to avenge a 27-point loss to the Seahawks in Week 13 of the regular season, and more importantly earn the right to continue their quest for a second Lombardi Trophy.

In order to change their bad luck on the road, the Saints recently switched up several traditions, such as their Gatorade flavor, travel sweat suits and pre game meal.

Ahead of the Sants win against the Eagles in Philadelphia last week, a victory that punched their ticket for this week's faceoff with Seattle, they ate Popeye's Chicken for good luck. Since it worked so well, the team had another large order of Popeye's waiting at the airport for the players Thursday as they boarded their flight for Seattle.
