Saints fans get April fooled: Relax, Jimmy Graham hasn't been traded

Saints Nation, we're going to have to keep our eye on you.

The loyal Saints fan blog tricked its readers who didn't take a second to look at the date on Tuesday, with a story that star tight end Jimmy Graham had been traded to the Oakland Raiders for a host of draft picks.

Yes, it's April 1. Yes ... April Fool's!

Here was the first part of the story:

"The Saints offseason took an unexpected turn as the team has decided to ship Jimmy Graham off to Oakland for the Raiders' 1st, 3rd and 7th round picks in 2014. Wow. Word is the Saints will now make Eric Ebron, tight end out of North Carolina, a drafting priority come May. Graham continued to insist on "Megatron" type money and the Raiders have rewarded him with a 6 year contract for $92.5 million with $40 million guaranteed."

Yes, a $92.5 million deal. That probably should have raised every red flag in the world. Of course, Saints Nation made sure to let everyone in on the joke.

"APRIL FOOL'S!!! Come on, you know Jimmy Graham is coming back to the Saints. This is a yearly Saints Nation tradition that fools about 15% of our readership at this point. The reactions (some very angry) are always fun to enjoy, though."
