Rodgers wins Player of the Week honor, again
For the second time this season, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is the NFC Offensive Player of the Week.
Rodgers completed 24 of 37 passes for 338 yards and a career-best six touchdowns in the Packers' 42-24 Sunday night win against the Houston Texans. He became the first player in Packers history to throw six touchdown passes without an interception, giving him the honor for the first time since his four touchdown passes helped the Packers win against the New Orleans Saints in Week 4.
Rodgers has won the award seven times since he was drafted in 2005, all coming since Week 13 of the 2010 season. During that span, he has won the honor more times than any player in the NFC.
