RGIII already calling out the Cowboys

RGIII's knee might still be healing ... but his mouth is already in mid-season form.

The NFL has become a year-round league, and the Washington Redskins quarterback is already getting a jump start on the trash talking with the Dallas Cowboys for next season.

After doing jumping jacks for the Redskins faithful to show that his knee is recovering from ACL and LCL surgery after Washington was eliminated from the playoffs, Griffin held an impromptu Q&A session with some of his fans at FedEx Field.

When asked what his favorite moments from his rookie season were, RGIII was quick to answer.

"You've got to start with the last game against the Cowboys," Griffin said, according to The Dallas Morning News. "Alfred Morris runs for 200 yards, does a great job. Then we go back to the game on Thanksgiving and we spanked the Cowboys."

Spanked the Cowboys on Thanksgiving? Ok, the final score was closer than the game actually was (38-31) and Griffin was mighty impressive, throwing for 311 yards and four touchdowns.

Griffin would go on to add that the Redskins made Cowboys Stadium their home.

Jerry Jones this weekend said that Tony Romo needs to put in "Peyton Manning-time" at Valley Ranch starting this offseason after signing his new mega-deal with the Cowboys.

If Romo is the first guy into the facility this week, then maybe he can go ahead and post these comments up on the Cowboys' bulletin board.
