Reports: Ohio State TE Stoneburner arrested

Jake Stoneburner, Ohio State's starting tight end, was arrested Saturday near his hometown of Dublin, Ohio, according to muliple reports.

Stoneburner was arrested in Shawnee Hills and charged with obstructing official business, according to 10TV.com and The Lantern.

Details about Stoneburner's arrest were not immediately available.

According to The Lantern, the Ohio Revised Code offers this definition of obstructing official business: “No person, without privilege to do so and with purpose to prevent,
obstruct, or delay the performance by a public official of any
authorized act within the public official’s official capacity, shall do
any act that hampers or impedes a public official in the performance of
the public official’s lawful duties.”

In 2011, Stoneburner led all Ohio State receivers with seven touchdowns catches, including three scores in the Buckeyes' season-opening win over Akron. He finished the season with 14 catches for 193 yards and is expected to be utilized more by first-year coach Urban Meyer.
A senior, Stoneburner was listed as the starter on a depth chart recently released by Meyer.
