Reds' Hamilton knuckles under

Reds OF Billy Hamilton left Thursday's game shortly after spraining two knuckles on his left hand while making a diving catch in the first inning. Hamilton probably won't be in the lineup tonight, and it's fair to call his status day to day. However, manager Bryan Price said, "We won't anticipate him playing or at least starting in the outfield. But there are probably some things he can do to help us win a game." If the chance of Hamilton stealing a base as a pinch runner means that much to your fantasy fortunes, you can still consider keeping him active tonight.

On to the rest of the news:

Rockies OF Carlos Gonzalez might miss a game or two with a strained left index finger.

Streaming starters: Bud Norris - no I'm not kidding - had a strong start on Thursday to raise our record to 20-11 for the season. The weekend picks are Mike Leake (owned in 17.5 percent of FOXSports.com leagues) against the Brewers tonight; Astros' lefty Dallas Keuchel (7.2 percent owned) versus the Mariners on Saturday; and Edinson Volquez (7.8 percent owned) against the Blue Jays on Sunday.

More Reds: SP Tony Cingrani is on the DL with shoulder tendinitis, and RP Aroldis Chapman was clocked at 101 mph on the radar gun during his Thursday rehab appearance.

Marlins 2B Rafael Furcal restarts his rehab assignment tonight, and should be back in a week or two if all goes well.

Twins OF Aaron Hicks left Thursday night's game with concussion-like symptoms after hitting his head against the outfield wall. We'll know more today about Hicks' status, but remember that MLB has a seven-day concussion DL.

The Angels are promoting once-upon-a-time prospect Grant Green, who could get some time as a platoon outfielder. If your AL-only team is desperate for a warm body, check him out. The team's website says that Green is "expected to get his fair share of playing time."

Speaking of AL-only options, the Blue Jays have recalled speedy Anthony Gose to be a backup outfielder.

Royals SP Bruce Chen (back) appears headed for the DL; Danny Duffy will probably start in Chen's place on Saturday.

Reminder: We could find out today if Indians 2B Jason Kipnis (abdominal strain) will need a DL stint. Plan to keep Kipnis benched in daily leagues until you hear good news.

Mariners SP Hisashi Iwakuma will make his first start of the season on Saturday.

When will Ryan Braun (oblique) be back in the Brewers' lineup? Heck if I know, but he's not on the DL yet, and that's a good sign.

If you own Clayton Kershaw, get him off the DL before Monday, when he's expected to start.

See you back here Monday morning.
