Reds club three homers in same inning for the first time since 2012

The bottom of the sixth inning was a big one for the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday night.

They came into the inning trailing the Chicago Cubs 3-2, but by the time the inning was down 10 batters had come to the plate, nine runs had scored, and three home runs had been clubbed.

Eugenio Suarez got the party started with a three-run shot to centerfield.

A few batters later it was deja vu as Adam Duvall lined a three-run homer to left.

And, immediately following Duvall's homer, Scott Schebler hit his first as a Red to the front row in right field.

It was the first time since Mike Leake, Zack Cozart, and Drew Stubbs hit homers against Mike Minor on May 21, 2012 that the Reds hit three homers in the same inning.
