Rays' James Loney welcomes son, placed on paternity list
James Loney has a new addition to his family. The Tampa Bay Rays first baseman and his wife, Nadia, welcomed son Jordan James on Thursday night, the team announced Friday. The child weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces and is the couple's first. On Friday, Loney was placed on the three-day paternity list, and infielder Ryan Roberts was recalled from Triple-A Durham prior to the Rays beginning a three-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre.
