Rashad Jennings to Eli Manning: Sorry I exposed your bad plan
Giants running back Rashad Jennings has apologized to quarterback Eli Manning for telling everyone that Eli told him not to score at the end of the team's game against Dallas Sunday night.
New York, up by 3 with less than two minutes remaining, completely botched its final drive of the game, with Jennings failing to score on consecutive runs before Manning threw an incompletion on a bizarre third-down play call.
Jennings told the media on Monday that Manning instructed him not to score on the two runs so the Giants could just run clock.
In Wednesday's New York Post, Jennings, via an "as-told-to" column, tried to make things right with his quarterback.
