Rashad Greene diary: Draft thoughts take backseat to working out

Rashad Greene enters the 2015 NFL draft after a record-breaking career at Florida State. The 6-foot wide receiver holds the school's career record for receptions (270) and yards (3,830). The combine was great. It was an unbelievable experience, an experience of a lifetime.

Pro day went really well. I was really excited for it and I thought I did everything that was asked of me. Ran routes well and made the catches I was supposed to make -- everything went as planned.

I had been at FSU for the whole week leading up to pro day so my workouts felt a little more normal, like old times. It made it a lot easier to get my legs under me and prepare correctly for Tuesday. Getting back on the same page as Jameis was important but once we did everything flowed.

It was good to see everybody again and just be out there with my old teammates. It was a good stage for all of us to be out there and I was happy to get the opportunity.

I didn't get the chance to speak with any teams or team representatives before or after pro day, but really that's not too big of a deal for me. Right now is football time. The draft process will take care of itself, all I can do is continue to improve as a football player. I'm going to do that by getting into football shape and doing everything I can do to make sure I am in the best possible position come draft day. I need to be able to run all day, catch every ball and run all the routes -- that's what it's about.

I've ran all the timed events and done all the testing, all of which doesn't matter to me, so from here on out it's just football. All I can do is the best that Rashad Greene can do.

I'm excited for everything coming up and ready to work hard.
