Rangers to sell Russell Wilson jerseys, T-shirts

Russell Wilson's Texas Rangers career will likely never get past its Monday stage, when Wilson is expected to be in Surprise, Ariz., and in the dugout for the team's game against Cleveland.

But that doesn't mean fans won't be able to remember Wilson's time in the No. 3 jersey.

The club announced Friday that Wilson jerseys will go on sale Sunday in Surprise as well as at the team stores in Texas. Fans in Surprise can buy replica home white jerseys as well as red and blue T-shirts with Wilson and the No. 3 on the back.

Fans at the three team shops in Texas will have a little bigger selection to choose from. There will be a "€œSeahawk Green"€ T-shirt available at the three team shops. The club has team shops at Globe Life Park as well as Fort Worth, Texas and Dallas. The Dallas store is closed on Sunday.

Wilson is expected to be in camp Monday only with the club. The Rangers selected Wilson in the Rule 5 draft last year. He hasn't played minor-league baseball since 2011.
