Potential No. 1 draft pick Joel Embiid is a big fan of Miley Cyrus

Future NBA rookie and ex-Kansas Jayhawks big man Joel Embiid is about to have a "Party in the USA."*

Or perhaps he'll take a "Wrecking Ball"* to the league?

The potential No. 1 Draft pick will be enjoying "The Climb"* up the NBA ladder next season, but for now, Embiid is on a pre-draft media tour.

In a more interesting moment from his interview with USA TODAY, Embiid revealed he's a big Miley Cyrus fan.

"I like Miley Cyrus," he said. "I'm a pretty good singer. I also like to dance. A LOT."

He proceeded to say "23" was his favorite song of hers, which for the record is not Cyrus' song. She's just featured on it, but we'll overlook that.

Embiid's public statement could play in his favor, though. The Ohio State basketball team once sang her song, and two years later, she returned the favor by wearing a team jersey. So we're keeping our fingers crossed for you Embiid! Hopefully it won't take two years to get some love back from Mrs. Cyrus.
