Pomeranz to join Myers in All-Star Game
San Diego Padres left-hander Drew Pomeranz has been added the National League roster to replace an injured Noah Syndergaard. Syndergaard left his last start for the New York Mets due to arm fatigue.
Pomeranz will join his teammate, first baseman Wil Myers, on Tuesday night as the second player on the roster from the host city. The 27-year-old is having a stellar year for the Friars wth a 2.47 ERA and a National League best .184 opponent's batting average.
