Podcast: Is Kansas a title threat in South?

ATLANTA --
The tournament selection committee certainly has a sense of humor, or
at least an eye for intrigue, as it seems Kansas and North Carolina are
always poised to play each other this time of year.

In the South
region, where the likes of Florida--the most efficient team overall in
the nation--is a 3-seed and Georgetown, the Big East champion, is the
2-seed, there is plenty to be excited about for basketball fans. Bill
Self and his Kansas team have been in this position before, but there
are certainly pitfalls along the way. Forgetting about UNC and the other
top seeds, former spoiler VCU, explosive Michigan and the (injured)
blueblood UCLA lie in wait.

So could the South region be even more loaded than the Midwest? It's possible.

Our
FOX Sports South college basketball team--Zach Dillard, Jay Clemons and
Cory McCartney--convened to talk about the multiple Elite Eight
possibilities in the South, as well as other top storylines. Here are
the highlights:

-- Kansas' Ben McLemore is one of the most
talented players, especially offensively, in the tournament. but is it
smart to rely on a freshman in March.

-- Should the Jayhawks be
concerned about an upset alert from Vilanova or from their former coach,
Roy Williams, and the 8th-seeded Tar Heels?

-- Michigan is
talent-laden and VCU is always dangerous, but with holes on both rosters
how far will the Wolverines and Rams make it this month?

-- As the 2-seed, is Georgetown overrated?
