Pistons acquire Steve Blake for Quincy Miller
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- The Detroit Pistons have acquired guard Steve Blake from the Brooklyn Nets in a trade for forward Quincy Miller.
The Pistons announced the deal Monday night.
Blake has played in 812 NBA games in 12 seasons with Washington, Portland, Milwaukee, Denver, Golden State and both Los Angeles teams. He averaged 4.3 points last season with Portland.
The 35-year-old Blake gives Detroit another point guard who can back up Reggie Jackson. The Pistons also have Brandon Jennings, but he's recovering from a major Achilles' tendon injury.
The 22-year-old Miller played 10 games last season for Sacramento and Detroit.
