Peralta fans six hitters as Brewers edge D-Backs 3-2
Freddy Peralta whiffed six batters in 3 1/3 innings, and the Milwaukee Brewers held on to defeat Arizona 3-2 on Sunday afternoon.
Chase Anderson had his best outing of the spring, as he allowed just one hit and fanned two Diamondbacks in two innings of work. Anderson’s spring-training ERA now sits at 6.19.
After Arizona jumped out to a 1-0 lead, Milwaukee’s Troy Stokes brought in Tyler Saladino on an RBI triple in the fourth inning. Mario Feliciano and Trent Grisham also knocked in one run apiece in the win.
Jon Olczak, a 21st-round pick by Milwaukee in 2015, picked up his first save of the spring.
