Party time: NASCAR types show they know how to prep for Super Bowl

There are ways to gear up for the Super Bowl -- and then there are better ways to gear up for the Super Bowl.

Obviously, NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers Greg Biffle and Denny Hamlin discovered one of the better ways to tune up for the big game when they crashed the pre-Super Bowl party at the Playboy party in Phoenix, Ariz., and NASCAR later had this picture of them tweeted out.

Hamlin hasn't restricted all his fun to the night life, either. He also played a round of golf with former Pittsburgh Steelers' running back Jerome Bettis, who was just voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

And for proof of that, he took to Twitter again to retweet this photo posted to the NASCAR account.

But Steve Letarte, who recently stepped down as crew chief for Dale Earnhardt Jr. to take to the broadcast booth at NBC, is topping them all. He has tickets to the game.

Sprint Cup driver Joey Logano, meanwhile, already went on record as saying that his favorite team, the New England Patriots, would beat the Seattle Seahawks, whose fans include fellow driver Kasey Kahne.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. said he could not disagree with Logano's prediction. But he gave a different reason for coming to that conclusion.
