Panthers recall forward Rocco Grimaldi from Portland

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced Wednesday that the Panthers have recalled forward Rocco Grimaldi from the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Portland Pirates.

The 23-year old Grimaldi has recorded two points (1-1-2) in 14 games this season with the Panthers and has recorded 33 points (16-17-33) in 52 games this season with Portland.

The 5-foot-6, 180-pound native of Anaheim, Calif., has played in 21 NHL games all with Florida (2014-16) and has recorded three points (2-1-3). Grimaldi was originally selected by Florida in the second round (33rd overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.
