Padres ratings dominate on FSSD

SAN DIEGO - Wednesday's Padres at Dodgers 4-1 victory in Los Angeles was also a ratings victory locally. The game, which was televised both locally on FOX Sports San Diego and nationally on ESPN, garnered a 4.41 HH average rating in San Diego on the local network, equating to over 47,000 households, nearly three times the amount of households watching on ESPN (1.52 HH).

"It's important to note the significant increase in viewership of Padres games this year," said Henry Ford, Senior Vice President and General Manager of FOX Sports San Diego. "Clearly with the game on two networks last night, fans showed tremendous support for our home town team. I'd like to thank Padres fans for tuning in to FOX Sports San Diego in such large numbers last night, and supporting their home team's network."

Additional Ratings Notes:

The Padres close out their three-game series against the Dodgers tonight beginning at 6:30 PM PST on FOX Sports San Diego.
