Packers take Cal WR Trevor Davis in 5th round of NFL Draft
The Green Bay Packers selected former Cal wide receiver Trevor Davis in the fifth round of the NFL Draft.
Davis played two seasons at Cal after transferring from Hawaii, finishing his career there with 2,300 all-purpose yards and nine touchdowns, including two kick-return touchdowns.
As a junior, Davis averaged 32.6 yards per kick return and scored twice on returns and added five receiving scores. This past year, Davis caught 40 passes for 672 yards and two touchdowns.
The 6-2 receiver was clocked by the Packers as having run the 40-yard dash at about 4.3 seconds.
