Packers release cornerback Dorleant

The Green Bay Packers released cornerback Makinton Dorleant on Tuesday, less than a year after signing him as an undrafted free agent out of Northern Iowa.

Dorleant appeared in just four games with the Packers after being placed on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.

He was activated late in the season, before tearing his ACL, and was arrested in March after an incident at a bar in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
