Packers re-sign LB Perry

The Green Bay Packers re-signed linebacker Nick Perry on Friday, declining to pick up the fifth-year option on Perry's rookie deal and reportedly inking the former first-round pick to a one-year, $5 million contract.

Perry started just once for the Packers in 2015 while appearing in 15 games, racking up 35 tackles, 3.5 sacks and a forced fumble, while tying Clay Matthews' franchise record for sacks in the playoffs with another 3.5.

The Packers also signed another familiar face, adding offensive tackle Vince Kowalski, who originally signed with Green Bay in June, 2015 before being cut last August.

A four-year starter out of Villanova, Kowalski was an All-Colonial Athletic Association honoree as a senior.
