Packers awarded two compensatory fourth-round picks
The Green Bay Packers have been awarded two compensatory draft picks after losing cornerbacks Tramon Williams and Davon House in free agency last year.
The Packers were awarded two fourth-round selections (picks No. 131 and 137 overall) via the NFL's notoriously arcane compensatory picks formula, a method so secretive that not even the teams involved know how many picks that they will receive.
The announcement gives Green Bay nine picks heading into the NFL Draft.
General manager Ted Thompson has made 15 compensatory picks since 2005, a list that includes guard Josh Sitton and defensive tackle Mike Daniels.
