Packers add Oklahoma FB Ripkowski with first sixth-round pick

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Perhaps the Green Bay Packers have found their future replacement for John Kuhn.

With the first of their three sixth-round picks at No. 206, the Packers drafted Oklahoma fullback Aaron Ripkowski.

Ripkowski, listed at 6-feet tall and 254 pounds, was not at the Scouting Combine. He started 17 games in his four-year college career.

Ripkowski had a total of six carries for 13 yards and three touchdowns, along with eight receptions for 41 yards and two touchdowns.

Kuhn re-signed with Green Bay this offseason, but it is a veteran's-minimum one-year contract for $870,000.
