On Monday Sam Amico gave us a story about the ups and downs of the Knick's Carmelo Anthony.

Anthony on any given night can score an outrageous amount of points, but on the other-hand he isn't the best defender and seems to be lacking in the some leadership qualities.

Reader Elliot Jacobson had this to say about Carmelo's superstar potential:






"Carmelo Anthony is not a super star and the Knicks will never win a championship if he is their first option. He will always get good stats but his team will never be a consistent winner comparable to the way Michael Jordan made the Bulls, Lebron James is making the Heat, and a host of other great players made their teams."
