Notre Dame QB Malik Zaire working out with Brady Quinn

By Matt Hladik

Notre Dame quarterback Malik Zaire is preparing for his future as the Fighting Irish’s starting quarterback by working with a star from the program’s recent past.

Zaire and former Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn got together for a throwing session Saturday afternoon. Quinn was a four-year starter for the Irish from 2003-06 and still owns school records for career passing yards, completions and touchdown passes.

Zaire shared a photo of them together on his Instagram account, which is private.

With Zaire’s running ability, if he can be a fraction of the consistent passer Quinn was, Notre Dame’s offense should be dangerous.
