Nippert Stadium turf removed

Replacement of the turf at the University of Cincinnati's venerable Nippert Stadium is under way, and the school's athletics communications department has provided a couple of ways for fans to see the work being done. 

The past week saw the removal of the old artificial surface that was installed in 2005, and a time lapse video of the process can be seen here. 
Next up? A slight adjustment to the orientation of the field, some grading of the surface on the installation of goal posts and kicking netting. 
After that a new turf field from UBU Sports will be installed in a process that is due to be completed by the beginning of August.
