NHL cancels games through December 30

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The National Hockey League announced today the cancellation of the 2012-13 regular season schedule through December 30.  The cancellation of games was necessary due to the absence of a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the NHL Players’ Association and the NHL. Today’s announcement affects eight Blue Jackets games scheduled between December 15-30, including the following three home games at Nationwide Arena – Saturday, December 15 vs. Phoenix Coyotes; Friday, December 21 vs. Vancouver Canucks; and Saturday, December 29 vs. New Jersey Devils.
