NFL Quick Hits: Seahawks await word on Lynch

Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch was a surprise inactive on Sunday after being called "ready to go" by head coach Pete Carroll. Lynch will visit a specialist in Philadelphia on Tuesday to get his abdominal injury checked out, and things don't sound good.

Carroll said Monday that he doesn't expect Lynch to play in Week 12. Surgery is possible, and Seattle Times beat writer Bob Condotta reports that the unlikeliest scenario is for Lynch to get a clean bill or health from the doctor. Consider Thomas Rawls - who is owned in just 18.7 percent of FOXSports.com leagues - as an RB1 this week.

In other news ...

Your Thursday games are Eagles-Lions, Panthers-Cowboys and Bears-Packers. Set your lineups accordingly. Thanksgiving dinner is NOT an excuse for mistakes at this time of year.

Falcons RB Devonta Freeman is off to a "good start" in the league's concussion protocol according to his head coach, but as we know, concussions can be dicey. Tevin Coleman (32.6 percent owned) is likely to carry the load against the Vikings if Freeman can't play Sunday. Yes, I know Coleman lost a fumble on Sunday.

Coleman isn't as good a pickup as fellow rookie RB Javorius "Buck" Allen, who is the Ravens' new starter in place of Justin Forsett (broken arm). Allen is owned in 3.1 percent of FOXSports.com leagues, and is just behind Rawls as the week's best pickup. Allen ran 22 times for 67 yards in relief of Forsett on Sunday, and added five receptions for 48 yards. Allen will get handoffs from Matt Schaub, who will QB the Ravens following the season-ending knee injury of Joe Flacco.

The Chiefs are calling RB Charcandrick West (hamstring) day-to-day. Spencer Ware would be up again if West can't play. Raise your hand if West's injury killed your DraftKings chances in Week 11! Oh, right - that's everyone.

Brock Osweiler will start at QB for the Broncos on Sunday night against the Patriots. Osweiler played pretty well in Week 11, but handed off 34 times while throwing just 27 passes. This team will remain run-heavy for the rest of the season, even if Peyton Manning returns (which he probably won't).

The Bears expect RB Matt Forte (knee) to return on Thursday, putting Jeremy Langford's fantasy value in jeopardy. I'd bet on Langford for 8-10 touches in Forte's first game back, but that's not based on anything besides a gut feeling. The status of WR Alshon Jeffery (shoulder, groin) is TBD.

Titans WR Kendall Wright (knee) hopes to return this Sunday, and will be in a good spot against the Raiders.

Eagles QB Sam Bradford has cleared the NFL's concussion protocol, but the Philadelphia Daily News reports that "it seems likely Mark Sanchez will again quarterback" the team on Thursday in Detroit. The Eagles haven't confirmed this, so don't write it in ink just yet.

The Patriots' offense didn't look so great last night, did it? Maybe losing two strong receiving weapons can even affect Tom Brady. The Broncos are going to beat these guys Sunday night.

Speaking of receiving weapons, Panthers rookie WR Devin Funchess (13.1 percent owned) stepped up Sunday with four receptions for 64 yards and a TD. With Philly Brown expected to miss another game, Funchess is playable in Week 12. He's not a great option, as the Panthers tend to spread the ball around, but I think he'll be the team's best fantasy wideout down the stretch.

The Redskins are worried about Matt Jones' fumbling issues. As long as Alfred Morris (ribs) is ready to go against the Giants, he should be busy.

Jets CB Darrelle Revis (concussion) sounds very iffy for the Week 12 matchup against the Dolphins.

Lost in the Case Keenum concussion controversy is the big news that Nick Foles might be under center when the Rams visit Cincinnati. Yippee?

Texans QB Brian Hoyer (concussion) has been cleared to return in Week 12, and with a matchup against the awful Saints, he's a terrific streaming option. I can see plugging Hoyer in over Matt Ryan, and possibly ahead of the struggling Philip Rivers.

A few DraftKings notes for the Thursday slate: Matthew Stafford ($5,800) has averaged 18.58 DK points over his last two games ... If you buy into the Eddie Lacy resurgence, he's only $4,700. I like the price ... After seeing Ameer Abdullah get 12 carries in Week 11, his $3,300 price tag is appealing ... If Panthers CB Charles Tillman (knee) misses another game, Cowboys WR Terrance Williams ($4,200) will be an interesting option. The Panthers allowed a long TD to Redskins' deep threat DeSean Jackson in Week 11 ... Funchess has upside at $3,900 ... Eagles TE Brent Celek ($3,200) has caught 11 passes for 213 yards in his last two games. With Zach Ertz suffering from a concussion, Celek looks like a solid play ... Of the six DSTs on the board, the Panthers are the best one, but I'll take the Lions ($2,200) against the INT-prone Sanchez.

See you back here Friday morning.
