NFL off-the-cuff picks: Back from our bye week
A lot has happened since we enjoyed some free time during our bye week.
What's that, you didn't know professional pickers of NFL games get a bye week? Well they do and the time away was awesome.
We kicked off our bye week by seeing the rock band Pearl Jam perform in Dallas. Amazing city, super-friendly people, but we didn't get to see Tony Romo throw an interception, which was kind of disappointing.

Then we headed north to see the rock band Pearl Jam perform in Oklahoma City. Another great city, nice people, good food, cheap drinks ... but we didn't get the chance to shoot a half-court shot for $20K, which was kind of disappointing.

But then it was time to get back to Los Angeles and do work. The important work. The type of work that inspires.
And we instantly noticed things had changed ... for the better.
Good friend Jimmy Traina (@jimmytraina) has joined our team, which is awesome. Also, we have a new page (foxsports.com/buzzer) on the new-look FOXSports.com, which is awesome (and looks great on your phone and tablet).
Here are some other things that have happened recently:
1. We talked to Steve-O about groupies.
2. We found out how Tom Brady's mother felt about a controversial non-call that went against her son.
3. We found out that Mark Sanchez now has cornrows.
4. And we revealed some made-up conversations between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady as they prepare to face each other in Sunday night's monster game.
But now it's time to move forward and get our game face back on. It's almost December, which means it's time to get serious.
So let's make some picks on National Football League games that will be played in the 12th week of the season.
New York Jets at Baltimore Ravens: We're trying to think of something good about this game but all we can think about is Mark Sanchez's new hairdo. Ravens 20, Jets 10.
Minnesota at Green Bay: Vince Young has spent the last two weeks staring at his phone and whispering, "Come on, Packers. Come on, Packers. Come on, Packers. Come on, Packers." Packers 16, Vikings 13.
Jacksonville at Houston: This game is like the McRib of NFL games this week: You know it's going on but it's probably best if you just ignore it. Texans 3, Jags 2.
Week 10's record: 8-5
Season: 86-52
