NBA prospect refuses to give Spurs his number

With the NBA Draft less than a month away, prospects are willing to do near anything to impress their future employers.

That is everyone except former Ohio State star Deshaun Thomas who refused to give the San Antonio Spurs his phone number.

"I can't go around giving it out to everyone," Thomas told Ohio.com. "Now if they want to draft me, I'd be happy to give it to them."

Thomas said teams asked him plenty of challenging questions at the combine, but he said that the most "interesting" was the fact the Spurs' first question was for his cell phone number and email address.

The Spurs did manage to get Thomas' email address out of him, so at least if the Western Conference's second-best team wants to contact him about a contract, they will be right next to the spam mail in the inbox.
