Mud Hens to wear 'Ghostbusters' jerseys in May
Don't cross the streams, err, the bats in Toledo on May 30.
It would be bad ... bad as in, "Those are some baaaad jerseys the Toledo Mud Hens are wearing that night."
The Detroit Tigers' Triple-A affiliate will don special "Ghostbusters" jerseys May 30 to honor the 30th anniversary of the 1984 hit movie. The team posted a preview of the jersey Thursday on their Instagram page.
The Mud Hens' website says "the jerseys will be auctioned off silently during the game (against the Charlotte Knights at Fifth Third Park) and will benefit the Northwest Ohio Relay for Life."
No word on whether the Mud Hens will honor Harold Ramis, who died Monday at the age of 69. Ramis played Dr. Egon Spengler in "Ghostbusters" and its 1989 sequel, "Ghostbusters II."
