Moreland ready to go for Rangers

Mitch Moreland's rehab assignment with Triple-A Round Rock came to an end without a hit but Moreland is ready to return to the Texas Rangers.

"I feel good," he said. "The elbow's been great. The legs feel good."

Moreland returned to Arlington following Round Rock's game Tuesday and is expected to join the Rangers Wednesday, which is the first day he's eligible to come off the 15-day disabled list. He's been on the disabled list since having a loose body removed from his left elbow.

Moreland went 0 for 11 with Round Rock but drew four walks.

"I didn't waste any hits down here," Moreland said. "That's a good thing. I hit some balls hard. They made some plays, great spring-training type outs. I was afraid if they left me down here too long they might send me to Double A."
