Monroe already paying dividends for Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks made a big splash in free agency when they signed Greg Monroe to a three-year, $50 million contract. We're only seven games into the season, but thus far their investment is paying off.

Monroe is just one of four players in the NBA to lead their team in both points and rebounds and Monroe is the only one to lead his team in points, rebounds, blocks and steals.

-- Since 2014-15, the Bucks have had 82 games with six or more steals, tied for the third-most such games over that span.

-- The Celtics have increased their steals output, from 8.22 in 2014-15 to 11.80 so far this season. The +3.58 differential is tops in the NBA.

-- Khris Middleton is one of just four active players who has a career field-goal percentage of 45 percent of higher, a 3-point field-goal percentage of 40 percent or higher and a free-throw percentage of 85 percent or higher. Middleton's percents in those categories are 45.0, 40.4 and 85.8. The other three players who match that criteria are Jose Calderon, Stephen Curry and Anthony Morrow.
