The Angels star slugger, known for his exploits at the plate as well as in center field, proposed to his longtime girlfriend Jessica Cox using a skywriter.

Despite the Angels' struggles this season, Trout will be the franchise's lone representative at the All-Star Game in San Diego next week and one of the top three vote getters in the American League.
