Mike Trout joins another historic club

It seems like every time Mike Trout does something great -- and he sure does seem to do a lot of great things -- it's another record or milestone for the Angels center fielder. Hitting a home run in the bottom of the first inning against the Houston Astros on Saturday, Trout joined an exclusive eight-member club of MLB players with 150 home runs and 500 runs by their age 24 season.

The other seven members of said exclusive club would be Mickey Mantle, Mel Ott, Jimmie Foxx, Frank Robinson, Alex Rodriguez, Ken Griffey Jr. and Albert Pujols.

The homer was Trout's 11th of the season tying the game at one.

Speaking of Pujols, he celebrated by hitting a jack of his own right after Trout to put the Angels up 2-1.

What a fitting way to celebrate.
