Michael Sam tweets about joining the Cowboys

After officially becoming a Dallas Cowboy on Wednesday, linebacker Michael Sam tweeted about what the opportunity meant to him.

Sam, who was cut by the Rams on Saturday, will be added to Dallas practice roster.

The rookie, who was born in Galveston, Texas and played for Hitchcock High School in Hitchcock, Texas, was happy to return home.
