McCarron and Webb's special flower girl

AJ McCarron's close relationship he formed with a young cancer survivor while in Alabama will carry into his wedding.

At a hospital on Christmas Eve, McCarron handed Starla, who was wearing an Alabama cheerleading uniform, a gift. She, in return, gave him a yellow bracelet reading "Just Trust," which he wore as the Crimson Tide knocked off LSU to win the championship. Just months later, Starla's cancer was in remission.

McCarron, who was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fifth round of this year's draft, his mother Dee Dee and fiancee Katherine Webb all love Starla — and does that little girl love her Alabama football. So much so that Chapman followed up a request to be flower girl in Webb and McCarron's wedding in classic fashion.

The only fitting color for her flower girl attire: crimson.

McCarron and Webb got engaged on March 28 and are scheduled to be married on July 11, with segments of the wedding reportedly to be televised.
