Mauktober Arrives at Missouri

Eleven SEC quarterbacks have missed games because of injuries this fall. Indeed, there are only three schools that have started the same quarterback for every game all year -- Georgia, LSU, and Alabama.

None of these replacement quarterbacks, however, have the star potential of Missouri quarterback Maty Mauk.

Already Missouri fans have dubbed the month of October, Mauktober.

And we're just starting to find out how incredibly awesome Maty Mauk might be.

For instance, he already has the most amazing arrest since Stephen Garcia left the league.

Maty Mauk was arrested for fleeing from cops on a scooter.

With two women on the back of the scooter.

This. Really. Happened.

Back in August of 2012.

Quoth the article:

"At 12:17 a.m. MU police spotted Mauk, 19, run a stop sign while driving his scooter east on Kentucky Boulevard — with two female passengers on board. Officers attempted to pull Mauk over, but he drove away. The officers lost track of Mauk but found the scooter abandoned between two cars in a parking lot, both with scratches they determined were caused by the scooter."

I don't know how much more heroic you can be than fleeing from the police while two women cling to your back on a scooter.

As if that wasn't enough, the guys at Busted Coverage have uncovered pictures of Mauk partying in an, "America, F--- yeah," hat and tshirt combo.

There have to be tons of Maty Mauk stories -- including why he only has one t in his first name -- we eagerly await receiving them.

In the meantime.

America, f--- yeah.

And Mizzou f--- ,yeah.

A star is born.
