Matt Simms makes ref laugh with his salsa touchdown dance
You have to feel for Matt Simms.
He's the third-string quarterback for the New York Jets and everyone knows that there's little to no chance -- barring injuries -- that he moves ahead of either Michael Vick or Geno Smith on the depth chart.
So, you can't blame the man for having a little fun on Friday night during a preseason game against the New York Giants. Simms found Greg Salas for an 11-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter and decided to give us a little Victor Cruz imitation. Here it is:
That's right. It's a salsa dance. What's even better is head referee John Parry has to spit out his whistle and chuckle when he sees it.
Now, let's compare. Who has the spicier salsa (sorry)? Is it Simms or is it Cruz?
Matt Simms said he planned the salsa dance with Vick and Geno. More of an homage than taunt since he and Cruz are friends. #Jets
