Marquette gains commit from SG Ahmed Hill

One night after attending Marquette Madness, 2014 shooting guard Ahmed Hill committed to head coach Buzz Williams and the Golden Eagles.

Hill announced his decision Saturday evening on Twitter, giving Marquette its third top-100 prospect in the class of 2014. A 6-foot-4, 180-pound guard from Augusta High School in Augusta, Ga., Hill was ranked by Scout.com as a four-star recruit and the 14th-best shooting guard in his class.

"Thanks to all the fans an coaches that have supported me through this process  it's been a great run, but I have committed to Marquette!!" Hill tweeted Saturday.

Hill joins four-star small forward Malek Harris and four-star guard Sandy Cohen as top-100 recruits in Marquette's recruiting class for 2014. According to Scout.com, Hill chose the Golden Eagles over Indiana, Florida State and Missouri.
