Machine Gun Kelly re-records Cleveland anthem for Jessica Eye

It's not every day that a UFC fighter has a rap superstar re-record a hit song specifically for them. But that's exactly what Cleveland hip-hop favorite Machine Gun Kelly did for No. 5-ranked fighter Jessica Eye just recently.

Eye is a proud native of Cleveland, the city Machine Gun Kelly also calls home and often writes about.

The track "Till I Die" is written as a tribute to Kelly's hometown, a song in which he references Cleveland throughout.

Eye's teammate Stipe Miocic -- who is also from Cleveland -- actually used the track as his walkout song for his last fight against Mark Hunt in Australia.

Well, Machine Gun Kelly was paying attention and recently recorded a separate verse to include Eye's name in the track.

Eye posted the song to Instagram on Saturday, and it will undoubtedly serve as inspiration as she prepares to represent Cleveland in her next fight against Miesha Tate on July 25 as part of the FOX UFC Fight Night card in Chicago.

Eye and Tate are likely fighting for a title shot opportunity against the winner of the UFC 190 main event between Ronda Rousey and Bethe Correia.

It looks like Eye will be carrying an entire city with her when she walks into the Octagon for her next fight.
