Lunchtime Links: Going all Kenny edition

Here are today's links from paths less taken and some more, uh, taken.

By the way, did you know that FOX Sports Ohio has 24/7 automated newswires for the Browns, Indians, Reds, Cavaliers, and Blue Jackets? It's true! Check 'em out today.

BROWNS

Oh, brother. Now, after a weekend of breathless media coverage of Johnny Football (including here at FOXSportsOhio.com), we get the media navel-gazing about it. No thanks... the media covers this stuff about Johnny because the fans are interested in it. If they weren't, no coverage. Here are some links for today:

Pro Football Talk: Josh Gordon already is in Stage 3 of the substance-abuse program. Puts the kibosh on fan speculation that Gordon gets six weeks max.

Plain Dealer: What happens in Vegas doesn't matter in May. Tell that to your bookie.

SportsNaut: Brady Quinn Gives Johnny Manziel Advice About Being Successful in Cleveland. One of these days, the Cleveland Browns will learn that the last people to listen to are Cleveland Browns.

WoofWoofNews: Graduation time for the Cleveland Browns. Claims that the offensive side of the ball "won't matter" because of defensive dominance. Gotta love this time of year.

INDIANS

The Tribe lost to the White Sox 2-1 in a rain-delayed extravaganza despite Michael Bourne going all Kenny Lofton on us. The Tribe loses Swisher and Santana to the DL, but will happily welcome back Jason Kipnis. Here are Francona's thoughts.

DTTWLN?: The glass is half-something - Random thoughts from May. A confusing time for a confusing team.

Let's Go Tribe: Lengthy rain delay does nothing to wake up Tribe bats. Just add water, get a run.

Plain Dealer: Francona thinks Brantley is turning into "one of the better players in the game". Now if only All-Star voters could figure that out.

CAVALIERS

Lots going in with the Cavaliers these days, from head coaching interviews to trade rumors. Discuss all of it with Sam Amico during his lunch time chat. At least we don't have any New York City writers telling us what the Cavs will or won't do today.

ABJ: Griffin becomes first candidate to interview for Cavs job. Bulls assistant wears best suit, smiles his best smile.

Fear the Sword: There's a rapper named Grandpa M and he wants LeBron James to come back to the Cavs. Alrighty then.

RealGM: Embiid Feeling 100 Percent Recovered From Back Injury. When the doctors agree, we can talk.

BLUE JACKETS

The Blue Jackets made a bit of news, rewarding Todd Richards for their playoff season with a two year extension. Here's some reaction:

Dispatch: Richard rewarded for solid season.

Official Site: Kekalainen: "I believe we have a very good head coach in place". And he backs up his words.

Yahoo!: Jackets reward Richard with extension.

REDS

The Reds lost to the Dodgers last night, 6-3. There's really not a lot else to say, other than that the team hopes a one-time closer can help somehow.

MLB.com: No rest for Reds as Dodgers call on Kershaw. It doesn't get easier.

Enquirer: Frazier tried to pick Reds up by stopping no-hitter. It may not have done that, but it sure stopped the Reds getting a bad mention in the record books.

Redleg Nation: Price continues lineup adjustments. Sooner or later, something has to click.

BENGALS

The Bengals rookies got onto the field during OTAs ([photo gallery) and even the Ben-Gals are back in action. Meanwhile, Danieal Manning looks to fit right into the Bengals secondary.

Stripe Hype: Can the Bengals rule the AFC North again? (Looks at other AFC North teams...). Yup.

Bengals.com: Bengals hurry into OTAs. Hue Jackson making his presence felt.

Associated Press: Rookie center Bodine gets chance to start. Mid-round rookie gets a fair look.
