Luke Weaver sizzles, FSU dominates Troy 11-0

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Luke Weaver struck out 14 in eight scoreless innings Saturday to lead Florida State to an 11-0 victory over Troy, moving the Seminoles within a win of reaching their sixth straight super regional.

DJ Stewart's solo homer capped a three-run fifth that gave the Seminoles a 3-0 lead. John Nogowski's first homer of the season gave the Seminoles a 5-0 lead in the eighth, and they added six more in the ninth.

Troy starter Tanner Hicks (8-4) was pulled after walking the leadoff hitter to start the seventh.
