LSU coach Les Miles takes a shot at Texas' (lack of) draftees
LSU coach Les Miles is making the regional rounds this offseason to keep in touch with Tiger fans, but made a point of taking a less-than-veiled shot at Texas in Houston.
During a speech Wednesday at the Houston Touchdown Club luncheon, Miles slipped in a jab when bragging about the nine LSU players drafted over the weekend.
"Some schools in this state didn't have any," he said.
Texas didn't have a player drafted in this year's NFL Draft for the first time since 1937.
New Longhorns coach Charlie Strong's old Louisville team had three players drafted in Thursday's first round.
